New pics from the Wanha Mestari Grande Finale gig

Looking for more gigs all the time...

We have some new tracks on the site now. The plan is to record and produce most of our songs during 2009 and put them on the site and on myspace. We hope that more people will hear them that way. The live shows have been better and better in 2008-2009

PF started as a songwriting collaboration in 2005. It became clear that this would be no cover band. We had way too much fun playing our own stuff. We also found that writing new material together was easy and natural, so why fight it?

Now a few years later and with some 30 songs ready to go, we feel that we need to stretch our legs and focus on gigs and recording. We have enough material to last quite a while, and we can't seem to stop writing more. It's time to get the songs out there!

If you like the songs and want more, or would like to suggest a gig venue, feel free to contact us through the guestbook or by mail/phone.

Parts Of The Story

The Singer - Mr Jones

Born in the DMZ of Finland....the archipelago of the Aaland islands. Passionate involvement with music since early childhood. Plays more instruments than he knows himself...but settled on singing in his mid twenties.

This guys scary vocal range made sure that no one else volunteered for the job as singer!

The Guy With Six Strings -Fredu

A veteran of many a band (if you ask him)...Most people know him as the guy who always has a plectrum in his pocket. Thinks of himself now as a songwriter/guitarist, not the other way around. Some agree...

Before we're ready to pay for a second guitarist, you can be sure that this guy plays enough for two!

The Guy With The Sticks, Mallets and Brushes - Jonez

Our resident engineer. Brought up on a steady diet of Kiss/Black Sabbath and more Kiss, still manages to lock on to a click track with unnerving accuracy.

He's notorious for making more crashes and bangs than a kitchen full of Iron Chefs.

The Guy With 4... No 5, Or Is It 6 Strings - Teppo

Mostly harmless.
